Gruppo Censeo took care of the complete renovation of the Milanese apartment of the founder of a well-known Milanese architecture studio, characterized by particularly sophisticated geometric cuts and light installations. The main purpose of the project was not only to respect but also to recover the original plan of the apartment.
The entrance perspective crosses the octagonal atrium and closes on the curved opening of the living room, a view that makes this space special. Around the octagon the rooms are articulated in a symmetrical way: the bedroom, the dining room, the gallery towards the living room, the bathroom and the kitchen.
The high ceilings and the exposed concrete make the volume imposing and reflect the design choices of the architect.
